Other Players which wil be remembered from the time I have been watching Latics are -
Stuart Barlow -The Free Scoring centre forward!
Roberto Martinez - Spanish Midfielder!
Scott Green (GREENY!) Right sided player!
'Sir' Andy Liddell - Legend at the club and is now the all time scoring record holder and will be remembered for years to come by the Latics fans who saw 'Lids' put away some great goals like at Notts County, in the promotion season to Division 1.
Jason De Vos - Quality centre half who led the club to Promotion to Div 1. Superb in the air.
Roy Carroll - Superb shot stopper who moved onto bigger and better things with Manchester United.
Simon Haworth - Will not be ever remembered as a Latics great but did show some potential when he put his mind to it.
Neil Roberts - Will be remembered mostly for that goal against Manchester City but he was a good striker who was committed every game.
Paul Dalglish - Winger, who didnt see much success with the club but one game against Stoke (6-1!) was his best game.

Stefan Bidstrup - Came with a big reputation but disapointed the fans and the clubs as he didnt reach expectations.
Ged Brannan - Another player who dissapointed and didnt live up to expectations.
Other players from the past are Stuart Balmer, Pat McGibbon, Lee Ashcroft, Ian Kilford, Isidro Diaz, Tony Dinning, Neil Redfearn, Carl Bradshaw, Derek Stillie, Peter Beagrie, Andy Marriott, Jeff Kenna, Stewert Kerr and Peter Kennedy to name just a few players who have worn the Wigan Athletic shirt.
A player who came and didn't want to wear the shirt was Geoff Horsfield who left after just 3 months. He joined in a 1 million pound move from Birmingham and was on the way to be coming a firm fans favourite until he moved to WBA. That move sparked the move for Jason Roberts, which obviously made the Duke happier and it made a much better partnership with the Duke and Roberts knowing each other really well.
